All FFQs are generated with an in-house software package that manages all aspects of database design and data processing. This streamlines the development of processing instructions for new FFQs and allows easy customization of existing FFQs. For example, a study may want to investigate a new margarine in the marketplace. In this case, we can add a few extra questions to capture use of the margarine and/or modify defaults on adjustment question that pertains to margarine use. (Cost is determined by project scope--contact staff for customized FFQ services and cost information.)
NASR can provide a report giving the estimated dietary intakes of specific nutrients for each study participant. (see sample report).
Standard fees for individualized participant feedback: $0.25 per electronic form Or $50.00 for unlimited amount. Additional fees required for customization.
The Fred Hutchinson Serving Size Booklet's cover may be customized with a study's logo. A pdf file will be provided for local printing. Customization of the cover is a one-time fee of $75.00
Nutrient processing only is available for very large studies that collect FFQ data on non-FHCRC paper forms and send scanned data for nutrient processing only. This is decided on a study-by-study basis and the cost will vary.
