shRNA Libraries

The RNAi Core Facility maintains and distributes clones and pools comprised of the human and mouse GIPZ lentiviral shRNA mir libraries sold through Thermo Scientific/Open Biosystems. To learn more about the libraries, please refer to the OpenBiosystems website

An online searchable database and ordering system called the shRNA Storefront has been established to facilitate purchases of individual clones, whole-genome pooled library sets, gene family sub-library pools, and various controls.  To register for access to the shRNA  Storefront, please email the following information to genomics_IT@fhcrc.org: Name, Fred Login, PI’s Name, Phone Number, and Mailstop.   (Please note: access to our shRNA resources is restricted to FHCRC labs only.)

Individual clones are also available directly through Open Biosystems at discounted pricing.

A human shRNA barcode array is available from Thermo Scientific/Open Biosystems to deconvolute negative selection screens using the GIPZ pooled libraries.  See details.

For questions regarding the RNAi lab and its services, please contact Jeff Delrow (email: jdelrow@fhcrc.org; phone: (206) 667-2763) or Jenni Risler (email: jrisler@fhcrc.org; phone: (206) 667-4670).
