ChIP-on-chip Analysis

The Genomics Resource supports several commercial platforms which can be used for ChIP-on-chip analysis. Commercial array products vary in approach and include promoter-specific as well as generic tiling array probe designs. Technologies currently supported in the Resource are:

• Affymetrix
• Agilent
• NimbleGen

Each researcher is responsible for purchasing all commercial arrays directly from the vendor and also performs all sample preparation tasks through labeling. All array processing is performed by Genomics Resource staff.

The Genomics Resource also has the ability to perform ChIP-Seq analysis, which combines chromatin immunoprecipitation with NextGen high-throughput sequencing technology. For more information about NextGen sequencing in the Genomics Resource, please look here.
