The goal of the International Cancer Biomarker Consortium is to establish collaborative network of research teams to both improve the process of biomarker discovery and to discover biomarkers for common types of cancer. By organizing a multi-team effort, the ICBC hopes to accelerate the development of discovery methods and to increase the proteomic space that can be probed and analyzed.
