New Scientist Career Conversation

The Director of the Office of Scientific Career Development will arrange to have an informal career conversation with every new postdoc and permanent graduate student shortly after s/he arrives at the Center. The purpose of this conversation is to make sure that the Office is aware of the scientist's needs for career development training, and the scientist is aware of the services that the Office provides.

Although every effort is made to identify new postdocs and permanent graduate students soon after they arrive, some people always seem to "fall through the cracks." If you have not been contacted by the Office within three months of arriving at the Center, please e-mail Dr. Karen Peterson to arrange an appointment.
