Ethics Forum for Postdoctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
This informal forum meets every month for a light breakfast and a discussion of ethical issues of interest to attendees. For more information and the date of the next meeting, contact Lee Strucker, lstrucke@fhcrc.org or (206) 667-1247.

Online Course — FHCRC currently uses Columbia University's Responsible Conduct of Research Courses. Five modules, Conflicts of Interest, Mentoring, Responsible Authorship and Peer Review, Research Misconduct, and Data Acquisition and Management are currently available. This web-based program is funded by the Office of Research Integrity.

Videos and DVDs of research ethics education lectures -- These are available on reserve in the Arnold Library and can be checked out for 24 hours. Credit for viewing can only be received for lectures that trainees did not attend in person.

Human Subjects Training — Training in the conduct of human subjects research is required for all key personnel responsible for the design and conduct of research involving human subjects. Training is available online or in person and is open to all FHCRC staff.

Research Involving Animals — Training in the use of animals in research is available through the FHCRC Institutional Review Office.
