Research Interests
- Development of DNA editing enzymes that target the genomes of viruses that undergo latent infections
- Development of viral vectors for gene delivery to sites of latent viral infection
Current Projects
- Development of adenovirus and AAV vectors for gene delivery to sites of HBV, HIV, HPV and HSV latency
- Use of engineered zinc finger nucleases and homing endonucleases to disrupt HBV & HIV genomes
