Blue Flags Against Cancer

Annually for one weekend in September, high school football officials through the state of Washington and many other states replace traditional yellow penalty flags with blue flags to raise awareness of prostate cancer and encourage men to talk with their doctors about appropriate screening. Blue is prostate cancer’s awareness color.

The event is September 13-15, 2012.
