Dr. Samir Hanash is a scientific visionary. And, like many pioneers, his work received its share of skepticism and rejection early on. But he persevered, and today, Hanash's research is pointing the way toward simple tests that could one day save the lives of patients with lung, liver, pancreatic and other cancers.
