Quest Fall 2007

Breast cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in women in the United States. An estimated 40,500 women will die of the disease in 2007. And while research victories against the disease take time, significant progress is being made. The Breast Cancer Research Program at the Hutchinson Center is proving that every day, offering new hope to all women.

The multidisciplinary program unites 25 colleagues from the Center and the University of Washington in a comprehensive attack on breast cancer that's generating breakthrough results and improving diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
