Take steps for cancer research
Proceeds from the Shore Run/Walk benefit immunotherapy research at the Hutchinson Center. The Center's Nobel prize-winning work on bone-marrow transplantation provided the first example of the power of the human immune system to cure cancer. Over the past three decades we have dramatically increased our understanding of this therapeutic effect and have led the way in immunotherapy - harnessing the immune system for the treatment of cancers.
