Assembling a group of professionals to take on any difficult challenge is a crucial part of the effort. Like finding researchers and doctors to join the fight against cancer, the Big Expedition for Cancer Research is looking for experienced mountaineers who are young, aggressive, talented, thoughtful and safe. The team has four climbers from around the U.S., some of whom may have climbed together before. This is first and foremost an effort to make a connection with the fight against cancer; therefore these climbers will not necessarily have high public profiles that might overshadow the cause.
